Waikiki Whale Watch
Head offshore in search of migrating humpback whales, with beautiful views of Waikiki and Diamond Head along the way.
Each winter, thousands of North Pacific humpback whales migrate to Hawaii's warm waters to breed and give birth. Our Waikiki Whale Watch heads offshore aboard the Big Kahuna in search of these giants — watch for spouts, breaches and tail slaps against the backdrop of Waikiki and Diamond Head.
Our captains know where the whales tend to travel and position the boat for great viewing while respecting all federal guidelines, keeping at least 100 yards away. Whales are curious, though, so they sometimes approach on their own — always a thrill.
It's a relaxed, seated experience suitable for guests ages 7 and up. Bring a light jacket, sunscreen and a camera. Tours run January through March, when sightings are most reliable.
